MAIN is a personal email notification relay operated by the owner of this application.
Information accessed
MAIN requests read-only access to connected Gmail accounts. It searches for Patreon notification emails and reads matching messages to extract creator names, subjects, post links, and preview image URLs. Although the permission permits reading Gmail data, the application is designed to process Patreon notifications.
How information is used
This information is used to filter notifications, group creator updates, prevent duplicate deliveries, and forward selected updates to Discord and Telegram.
Information shared
Selected creator names, notification subjects, post links, and preview image URLs are sent to configured Discord and Telegram channels. People with access to those channels may see these updates. Discord and Telegram process the information under their own privacy policies.
Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
Storage and retention
OAuth credentials and tokens are stored on the operator’s computer and/or VPS to maintain authorized Gmail access. Pending notification content and delivery progress are stored while delivery is incomplete. Completed-post identifiers are retained to prevent duplicate notifications.
Pending delivery records are removed after delivery completes. Authorization tokens and delivery records may also be deleted by the operator when they are no longer needed. Messages already delivered to Discord or Telegram remain there until separately deleted.
Access and deletion
Access can be revoked at any time through the connected Google account’s third-party access settings. Revoking access stops future Gmail access but does not automatically delete stored records or previously forwarded messages.
Google API Services
MAIN’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
